Network Engineer
Summary
Maintains and secures the corporate network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and wireless systems across offices and data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer LAN, WAN, routing, switching, wireless, VPN and network-security components within the approved scope.
- Monitor network health, capacity and availability and respond to alerts, incidents and performance degradation.
- Troubleshoot connectivity across offices, data centres, hosted environments and approved external services.
- Coordinate approved changes with telecom providers, TDRA and other relevant parties.
- Maintain network diagrams, IP plans, configuration baselines, inventories, backups and operational runbooks.
- Support firewall-rule, segmentation and secure-connectivity activities in coordination with cybersecurity.
- Contribute to resilience, capacity, failover and disaster-recovery testing.
- Participate in agreed on-call coverage for critical network incidents.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, wireless, VPN, firewalls and network monitoring.
- CCNP or equivalent professional-level certification preferred; CCIE is an advantage.
- Relevant Fortinet, Palo Alto or equivalent security-platform experience preferred.
- Strong incident troubleshooting and technical documentation capability.
