Network Engineer
Salary: £71,400 - 71,400 per year
Requirements:- Experience in network support or engineering roles
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and network diagnostics
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment (CCNA-level knowledge)
- Exposure to Palo Alto firewalls and/or Cisco ISE to implement wired and wireless network access control and micro segmentation
- Experience with fibre and copper cable management (datacentre clean ups)
- Familiarity with NAC solutions and enterprise network security practices
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Provide hands-on support for LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches and routers
- Assist with firewall rule changes and basic policy management (Palo Alto or similar)
- Support VPN and remote access solutions
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts using tools like SolarWinds or PRTG
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and changes
