Network Engineer Senior Level

With continued growth comes opportunity, and we are currently searching for a Top Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Senior-Level Network Engineer.
The Network Engineer provides assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks; Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents; Implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment; Analyzes network characteristics (e.g. traffic connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes and throughput), troubleshoots problems and recommends procurement of and/or modifications to network components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and implement scalable network solutions, new network layouts, and upgrades.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewall rules, access controls, and security protocols to protect data.
- Resolve network issues.
- Monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve visibility through metrics and alerting.
- Create and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.
