Network Engineer
Summary
Designs, configures, and troubleshoots enterprise networks with BGP/OSPF, VLANs, QoS, and modern data-center fabrics like EVPN/VXLAN.
Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong enterprise networking experience across routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRRP/HSRP and Spanning Tree
- Strong understanding of QoS, Multicast, IPv4/IPv6 and high availability networking
- Experience with switching platforms
- Modern data centre networking exposure including EVPN, VXLAN, MLAG and Leaf-Spine architectures
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across routing, switching, firewalls and connectivity
- Experience working within secure or air-gapped environments
- Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to take ownership of technical projects
- Eligibility for MOD DV/STRAP clearance
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites
- Take ownership of the design, implementation, configuration and support of complex enterprise network infrastructure
- Work within national infrastructure to deliver secure, high-performance networking solutions across business-critical and highly secure environments
- Attend customer sites to deliver installations, upgrades, network audits and technical health checks
- Combine hands-on engineering with customer engagement
