Network Engineer

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our global NetworkEngineering and Operations team in Singapore. This hands-on role will supportnetwork operations, infrastructure projects, and technology lifecycleactivities across the Asia-Pacific region.

The successful candidate will have practical experience supportingenterprise network environments, including campus LAN, WAN, wireless, and datacenter infrastructure. The engineer will work from established networkstandards and approved designs to perform implementations, maintenance,troubleshooting, documentation, and operational support.

This role requires regular collaboration with technical teams,local business stakeholders, service providers, and on-site resources acrossAsia, North America, and Europe. Candidates should be able to manage assignedwork independently, communicate clearly across time zones, and escalate complexissues when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the operation and maintenance of enterprise LAN, WAN,wireless, data center, cloud-connected, and SD-WAN environments.

· Provide hands-on network support for APAC sites, infrastructureprojects, and business initiatives.

· Configure and deploy network equipment using approved designs,standards, and implementation procedures.

· Maintain and tune network monitoring systems, including deviceonboarding, alert thresholds, dashboards, and notification rules, to improvevisibility and reduce unnecessary alerts.

· Perform network maintenance, software upgrades, hardwarereplacements, and technology lifecycle activities.

· Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, switching, wireless, andnetwork performance issues.

· Prepare implementation plans, validation steps, rollbackprocedures, and change records with guidance from senior engineers when needed.

· Create and maintain network diagrams, device configurations,inventories, operational procedures, and troubleshooting documentation.

· Coordinate activities with telecommunications carriers, equipmentvendors, structured cabling contractors, and on-site support resources.

· Participate in a global on-call rotation and follow-the-sunoperational support model.

· Escalate complex technical issues and communicate status clearly.

Required Qualifications

· Approximately 4 to 5 years of experience supporting enterprisenetwork infrastructure and operations.

· CCNA-level knowledge of routing, switching, and TCP/IP networkingfundamentals.

· Working knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, VLANs, 802.1Qtrunking, port channels, Spanning Tree, EIGRP, and basic BGP concepts.

· Experience supporting enterprise campus, WAN, data center, orwireless network environments.

· Familiarity with network monitoring, incident management, andchange management processes.

· Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation,diagrams, implementation procedures, and troubleshooting notes.

· Ability to organize assigned work, manage multiple priorities, andescalate issues appropriately.

· Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, andorganizational skills.

· Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience using AI-assisted tools for network troubleshooting, logand configuration analysis, documentation, automation, or other networkengineering tasks.

· Experience supporting Aruba wireless technologies.

· Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies, including HPE ArubaNetworking EdgeConnect, formerly Silver Peak.

· Familiarity with Aruba ClearPass or other network access controltechnologies.

· Exposure to AWS networking, cloud routing, Direct Connect, TransitGateway, or hybrid cloud connectivity.

· Familiarity with F5 load-balancing technologies.

· Experience supporting network segmentation or access-controlinitiatives.

· Experience supporting manufacturing, laboratory, research, or otherbusiness-critical environments.

Education and Certifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, InformationTechnology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experiencewill be considered.

· Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge and experience.

· Additional Cisco, Aruba, AWS, or other relevant technicalcertifications are beneficial.
