Network Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with exposure across several of the following: Cisco / CCNP-level networking and Nexus switching
- Cisco ASA/Firepower
- Fortinet, Check Point or Palo Alto firewalls
- AWS and/or Azure
- Windows/Linux servers
- VMware ESXi/vSAN
- Load balancing and network monitoring
- Defender / Sentinel / SIEM
- HLD/LLD documentation
- ITIL, incident/change/problem management
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing ability
- The confidence to work independently and take ownership
- A resilient, can-do attitude
- Relevant networking qualifications, ideally CCNP or equivalent
- Provide technical support across complex customer environments and managed services
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure incidents
- Contribute to solution design, HLD/LLD, implementations and technical projects
- Act as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert
- Work within an ITIL-based service environment, supporting SLAs, KPIs and change/problem management
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver a high level of technical service
- Occasionally travel to customer sites, data centres and offices in Milton Keynes/Watford
