We're recruiting several experienced Network Engineers to join a team building and operating large-scale cloud network infrastructure supporting critical national capabilities. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design, deploy, automate and optimise complex network environments while working with leading-edge technologies.
Key activities
- Design, build and support large-scale network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead network deployments, upgrades and optimisation initiatives.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
You'll have experience with:
- Linux/Unix administration
- Large-scale IP networking
- Routing protocols including BGP, OSPF and MPLS
- TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Data Centre and/or WAN networking
- Network security principles
- Firewalls, ACLs, DNS and DHCP
- Network automation or scripting (Python, Ruby, Perl or similar)
- Building or supporting highly available network environments
- A relevant technical degree and/or industry certifications
Australian Citizenship is essential.
