Network Engineer
Summary
Design, implement, and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure internal/external communications using routers, switches, firewalls, and cloud platforms.
Job Overview:
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting the company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure that all network systems are reliable, secure, and efficient. Your expertise will help maintain the smooth operation of both internal and external communication systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience working as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.).
- Proficiency in network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and networking technologies (e.g., VLAN, VPN, MPLS).
- Hands-on experience with network management tools, diagnostic tools, and network analyzers.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
- Solid understanding of network security best practices and tools.
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent preferred.
