Network Engineer

The Role:
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Network Engineer who brings enthusiasm and expertise to the table. The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and administering our company's computer networks. The primary duties will include maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. You will also be working closely with the users of TMH network in order to identify potential issues and fix existing problems. They will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware. They will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist in implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
- Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
- Arranging scheduled upgrades
- Investigating faults in the network
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
- Reporting network status to key stakeholders
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in LAN/WAN/WLAN and network security.
- 2+ years’ experience in switching, routing, firewall and wireless
- Expert knowledge of the following technologies: routing, switching, MPLS, VPN and SDWAN.
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Salary - $65,440 - $83,895 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
