Summary
Entry-level network support engineer role (training provided) managing mobile Element Management Systems for 4G/5G network nodes and analytics platforms, with first-line monitoring, incident coordination and vendor liaison on a 24/7 rotating shift. Unix/Linux, shell scripting and TCP/IP knowledge are pluses; 1-year renewable contract in Singapore.

Network Support Engineer
Location (Nearest MRT): Bukit Panjang MRT
Salary: Up to $ 3100 (Depends on Qualification & Relevant Work Experience)
Shift Allowances : Yes
Performance Bonus: Yes
Duration of Work: 1 Year Renewable Contract
Work Days: 24/7 Shift Arrangement (Including Weekends & Public Holidays, where applicable)
Work Hours: Rotating Shift Schedule (Exact shift pattern and working hours will be shared during the interview)
Job Responsibilities
Support the administration and management of Mobile Element Management Systems (EMS) for 4G/5G network nodes and analytics platforms.
Monitor system operations and provide first-line operational support.
Handle and coordinate operational queries and feedback from relevant external agencies.
Liaise with network vendors on system changes, installations, upgrades and maintenance.
Assist in disaster recovery activities during service disruptions to minimise downtime.
Coordinate with technical teams to investigate and resolve network incidents.
Monitor system performance and support service assurance activities.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong interest in mobile technologies, networking and IT systems.
Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies, including 5G, virtualisation and cloud computing.
Able to work occasional non-office hours and participate in 24/7 standby arrangements for ad-hoc faults or service degradation.
Technical Skills (Added Advantage)
Knowledge of SUN Solaris, Red Hat Linux or HP-UX.
Familiarity with Shell scripting.
Understanding of TCP/IP, network switches and routers.
