Network Engineer

JOB SUMMARY / PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and installation of the wide area and local area network equipment and facilities including internet connections for Head Office, branches, subsidiaries and affiliates.

• Responsible for the establishment of a networking environment by system configuration, system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.

• Responsible for the daily operations of the Network Management System for data gathering and analysis to maximize the performance and recommend solutions on the local and wide area networks.

• Responsible for the regular back-up files of all network equipment configuration and also documentation and updates of inventory files.

• Responsible for the updates of records and files for all data communication lines, equipment and cable pairs for immediate and future reference

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a college graduate with any IT related degree or equivalent

• Must have experience in handling IT policy and planning, IT service operations and Network and Telecommunications technology;

• Must possess good customer orientation and good communication skills both oral and written. Able to express his technical skills with his associates.
