Network Engineer (Voice)

Summary

Designs, configures, and troubleshoots enterprise voice systems like Cisco UCM, UCCE, and Microsoft Teams telephony for a managed-services provider.

Salary: £35,000 - 47,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We need an experienced Level 3 Network Voice Engineer with strong, demonstrable voice engineering expertise.
  • We need experience supporting enterprise voice technologies such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager, Cisco UCCE, and Microsoft Teams telephony.
  • We need someone who can clearly explain the voice environments they have supported, the technologies involved, and their personal contribution to resolving complex issues.
  • Experience with LAN, data networking, or firewalls would be beneficial.
  • You must be security clearable.
  • We are looking for someone who is technically strong and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Support, troubleshoot, and improve critical voice services.
  • Work across enterprise voice infrastructure and wider networking environments.
  • Contribute to the operation and support of technologies including Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager, Cisco UCCE, and Microsoft Teams telephony.

We are recruiting for an experienced Network Voice Engineer to join a well-established technical environment in Gloucester. This is a permanent Level 3 role focused primarily on enterprise voice technologies, with some involvement across the wider network estate. The role offers a salary of up to £45,000 plus an approximate £4,000 annual on-call allowance, with a 1-in-4 on-call rota and hybrid working of 2 to 3 days per week in Gloucester.
