Network Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Support data center migration activities, including planning, execution, and post-migration validation
Configure, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure (L2/L3) across data centers
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth server and application migrations
Perform network assessments, risk identification, and mitigation planning
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
Participate in change management, incident resolution, and root cause analysis
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
Support ongoing network operations and optimization initiatives
Required Skills (Must-Have)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching)
- Working knowledge of data center networking concepts (VLANs, routing protocols, ACLs, etc.)
- Exposure to network operations and troubleshooting in enterprise environments
- Understanding of Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts
- Basic experience or familiarity with Arista switches/environments
- Good understanding of network migration or infrastructure transition activities
Good to Have
- Experience working in data center migration or consolidation projects
- Exposure to automation or scripting (Python/Ansible) for network tasks
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and network performance management
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP)
