A state government digital health agency is rebuilding the network that supports healthcare services across South Australia. A next-generation core network program and two major new hospital builds are moving into design and planning together. They need an experienced network architect to set the standards, assure the designs and keep all of it consistent.
You’ll sit in the Enterprise Architecture Office. Your work will set the direction for network investment across the state for years to come.

They need an experienced network architect to set the standards, assure the designs and keep all of it consistent.
You’ll sit in the Enterprise Architecture Office. Your work will set the direction for network investment across the state for years to come.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and getting approval for the new network’s segmentation, private cloud and data centre standards
- Assuring internal and vendor designs against target architectures across several concurrent programs
- Building out network principles, reference architectures, patterns and guardrails
- Shaping procurement through architectural requirements, evaluation criteria and supplier assessments
- Explaining architecture decisions clearly to clinical, operational and executive audiences
- 5+ years as a Network Architect in large, complex enterprise environments
- Proven experience writing and governing network standards, reference architectures and patterns
- Deep knowledge of data centre, Azure cloud, campus, SD-WAN, routing and switching, and segmentation and zero trust
- Experience giving architecture assurance across multiple concurrent projects
- Strong stakeholder skills, including confidence with executives and vendors
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working With Children Check
