Network & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Rosino Group is a dynamic and growing family investment office based in Hong Kong that manages portfolio companies in real estate, complex integrated fuels and lubricant, and technology. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and troubleshooting of our network infrastructure across all offices and business locations. The ideal candidate is a structured troubleshooter, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about maintaining a secure, resilient, and high-performing network.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco switches and routers, including VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, and dynamic routing protocols.

• Design, implement, and support the corporate WAN, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity between offices, data centers, cloud platforms, and third-party environments.

• Configure and manage Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls and Zscaler security solutions, including firewall policies, NAT rules, and web access policies.

• Establish and troubleshoot site-to-site IPsec VPNs and remote-access VPN solutions.

• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot corporate Wi-Fi infrastructure, ensuring secure segmentation between corporate, guest, and IoT networks.

• Support networking and identity components within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra ID, including VNets, NSGs, and hybrid on-premises-to-cloud connectivity.

• Operate and maintain network monitoring platforms to proactively identify and resolve availability, performance, and connectivity issues.

• Apply cybersecurity best practices, including network segmentation, least-privilege access, and firmware/vulnerability management.

• Manage technical interactions with ISPs, telecom providers, equipment vendors, and managed service providers.

• Maintain accurate network diagrams, IP address documentation, and change-management records.

About you

• Proven experience (5+ years) in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a similar hands-on technical role.

• Demonstrable hands-on experience managing production network environments.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4 addressing, subnetting, and enterprise networking fundamentals.

• Practical experience with Cisco switches and routers, Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls, and IPsec VPNs.

• Experience supporting multi-site corporate environments and troubleshooting Layer 2/Layer 3 connectivity issues.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory (nice to have).

• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills with a structured diagnostic methodology.

• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to communicate technical problems clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive technical information.

• Proactive, able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
