Network Infrastructure Engineer
Summary
Maintains and troubleshoots enterprise LAN/WAN, VPNs, and hybrid cloud networks, including Azure and Microsoft 365, ensuring reliable connectivity and security.

This is a hands-on technical role with a strong focus on networking, infrastructure reliability and troubleshooting. We're looking for someone who is comfortable getting into the detail - diagnosing connectivity issues, configuring network equipment, supporting hybrid infrastructure and working with vendors to keep critical services running.
What you'll be doing
You'll take an active role in supporting and maintaining our network and infrastructure environment, including:
- Supporting LAN and WAN infrastructure across the business
- Configuring and maintaining switches, routers and wireless access points
- Managing VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP and DNS
- Configuring and supporting remote-access and site-to-site VPNs
- Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity and infrastructure issues
- Supporting Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Maintaining network diagrams, configurations and technical documentation
- Working with telecommunications providers, vendors and other technology partners to resolve incidents and implement changes
- Supporting infrastructure security, reliability and continuous improvement
- Participating in incident, problem and change management activities
The role will also provide support across our Microsoft environment, including Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, so experience working across both traditional infrastructure and cloud services will be highly regarded.
What we're looking for
We're particularly interested in candidates with:
- Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure
- Experience with Ubiquiti, Cisco or similar networking technologies
- Solid knowledge of switching, routing, wireless, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP and DNS
- Strong network and infrastructure troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with hybrid cloud environments
- Exposure to Azure networking
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID
- A good understanding of infrastructure and network security best practices
- Strong documentation, analytical and communication skills
