Local ( distrito, região): Lisboa Função: Network Operations EngineerNível: JR Data de início: ImediatoDuração da contratação: 1 ano Português​Years of experience: 0-2 years​​Mandatory (Requirements):​- Proven experience with physical, LAN, WAN, and related networking environments, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.​- Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols, including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, VLANs, STP​- Solid expertise in network troubleshooting, including root cause analysis, impact assessment, traffic management and capability to implement workarounds​- Familiarity with network infrastructure preparation for new client services, ensuring proper deployment and configuration.​- Hands-on experience in ticket management within a carrier/service provider environment.​- Perform equipment updates (firmware, configurations), and execute necessary adjustments to maintain service stability.​- Knowledge of network monitoring platforms for real-time tracking of network performance and detection of anomalies.​- Proven ability to work closely with NOC teams, field technicians, specialized infrastructure teams, and vendor support when necessary.​- Clear communication skills to report incidents, escalate issues, and coordinate on resolutions.​ ​Daily Tasks:​- Handle and process network-related tickets, prioritizing incidents and ensuring timely resolutions​- Configure and optimize network infrastructure for the integration of new client services, following best practices​- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, performing root cause analysis and proactive maintenance​- Deploy temporary routing adjustments, reconfigurations, and apply patches to maintain service continuity during incidents​- Monitor the health and performance of the network infrastructure, identifying anomalies and optimizing configurations​- Onboard new networking devices into monitoring and management platforms, ensuring proper visibility and efficient operation​- Apply configuration changes and upgrades as required, maintaining system compatibility and stability​- Coordinate with vendors to report incidents, validate solutions, and perform follow-ups on known issues​- Work closely with NOC, Infrastructure Teams, and Field Technicians to ensure seamless network operations​ ​Non-Mandatory (Nice to Have):​- Familiarity with network services, including VPN, Voice (VoIP), IPTV, Wi-Fi, and multicast streaming​- Understanding of network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Netmiko)​- Experience with network security technologies (IDS/IPS, DDoS mitigation, SSL VPN)​- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) to support automation and configuration tasks​- Ability to mitigate vulnerabilities​
