Network Planning Engineer

Salary: AUD 1000 per annum

Network Planning Engineer 6-Month Contract | High Chance of Extension
Join a leading technology team supporting a large-scale network modernisation program within a critical infrastructure environment.
We are seeking an experienced Network Planning Engineer with strong Network Management Systems experience to support enterprise networks across Windows and Linux environments.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience administering Network Management Systems such as Splunk, ServiceNow, Riverbed, Infoblox, Grafana or similar.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting across OSI Layers 1-7.
• Experience with network monitoring technologies including SNMP, NetFlow and Syslog.
• Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Microsoft Windows administration skills.
• Experience working within virtualised environments.
• Ability to create technical documentation and implementation plans.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.

Highly Regarded

• Scripting experience using Python, Bash, Perl, PHP, Ansible or similar.
• Experience within Agile environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, RHCSA, Splunk, VMware or equivalent.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or critical infrastructure environments.

Requirement

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian NV1 Security Clearance.
• Successful completion of required background screening checks.
