Network Planning Manager

Job Summary

Drive technology innovation by performing market scans, supporting Proof-of-Value, managing product lifecycles, and leading technical planning and network/security engineering in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technology market scans and conduct technical evaluations through Proof-of-Concept to identify new solutions.
  • Support customers by delivering Proof-of-Value demonstrations to validate technology benefits.
  • Assist in resolving L3/L4 escalations related to platform and software issues to maintain service reliability.
  • Manage service product lifecycle activities including End-of-Life (EOL), End-of-Support (EOS), releases, and upgrades.
  • Develop new features and enhance platform capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead technical planning, network and security engineering, and coordinate project management activities.
  • Define Day 1 and Day 2 technical scopes of work to ensure clear implementation and operational guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Pre-Sales, Fulfilment, and Support teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Technology, Computer Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Enterprise, System Integrator, or Telco environments.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, routing, and network/security concepts to support technical evaluations and implementations.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux, virtualization, and cloud platforms to assist in platform enhancements and support.
  • Effective writing and communication skills to document technical scopes and collaborate with stakeholders.
