Network Security Advisor
Purpose of the job
To manage and support network security technology tools, to meet organizational needs.
Duties and responsibilities
- Maintaining and troubleshooting second layer of support to these tools.
- Troubleshoot raised issues from operation team.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure availability requirements are met.
- Work with vendors to solve the raised problems from operation team.
- Provide level 2 network support to all network related incidents.
- Ensure service level agreement (SLA) is met during incidents handling.
Job specification
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science from a recognized university.
Experience
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in administrating information security controls.
- Proven experience working with F5 WAF and LTM.
- Proven experience working with Forcepoint, Palo Alto, and Cisco FTD Firewalls.
- Proven experience working with Infoblox DDI.
Skills and abilities
- Very good English both spoken and written.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team.
- Self-confident with professional behavior and attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
