Network Security Engineer
Summary
The Network Security Engineer will manage and monitor network access control platforms, specifically Forescout, while performing system administration, incident management, and integration with security tools like Cisco ISE and SIEM. The role involves policy tuning, device profiling, and maintaining network security infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Platform monitoring and incident management
- Device discovery and profiling
- Policy tuning and optimization
- Network Access Control (NAC) administration
- Integration with Cisco ISE, ServiceNow, SIEM/SOAR, EDR, and related platforms
- System administration, upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance
- Weekly and monthly reporting, RCA documentation, and coordination with L2 support and Forescout TAM
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Forescout (eyeSight, eyeControl, eyeExtend)
- Solid networking knowledge (802.1X, RADIUS, MAB, DHCP, SNMP, SPAN, VLANs, switching/routing)
- Experience integrating with Cisco ISE (pxGrid), ServiceNow CMDB, SIEM/SOAR, and EDR solutions
- Scripting knowledge in Python and/or PowerShell
- Experience in incident management and RCA documentation
- Forescout certifications (FCAdmin, FCE) are highly desirable
- 3 to 5 years of experience in network security, NAC, or device profiling roles Work Arrangement
