Network Security Engineer (Hybrid)

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Network Security Engineer for a Full-Time role, primarily remote with hybrid options. You will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure to protect against cyber threats and ensure policy compliance.

Responsibilities include monitoring traffic, performing vulnerability assessments, and collaborating with IT and security teams to embed best practices into network architecture.

Design, deploy, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Monitor network traffic for anomalies and respond to incidents in real time. Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into network architecture. Bachelors degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field. 3+ years in network security engineering or similar role. Proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls. Strong understanding of TCP/IP and routing. Experience with penetration testing, threat analysis, and incident response.
