Network Security Engineer
Summary
Install, configure, and troubleshoot network security devices like FortiGate and FortiSwitch for customer environments and resolve connectivity/security issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network security and switching solutions.
- Provide technical support for customer network environments.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and security issues.
- Perform routine health checks, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices.
- Coordinate with customers to understand requirements and provide timely resolutions.
- Document technical issues, configurations, and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and support.
- Good hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiSwitch, technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewall concepts.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- CCNA and EPSP certification, and strong hands-on FortiGate Administration skills.
- Willingness to travel locally, if required, for customer support activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
