Network Security Engineer

Location: Malad, Mumbai
Experience: 4 - 7 Years
Shift: 24x7 Rotational Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor client network and security devices remotely.
• Troubleshoot Routing, Switching and Firewall-related issues.
• Handle network outages, production incidents and emergency troubleshooting.
• Manage incident and change management processes.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Perform network design changes, migrations and configuration updates.
• Prepare network diagrams and technical documentation.
• Independently manage shifts and handle critical network issues.
• Lead and mentor L1 engineers.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for escalations.

Mandatory Skills & Technical Requirements

• 4 - 7 years of experience in Network Engineering / Network Security.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching.
• Experience with Palo Alto Panorama, WildFire and GlobalProtect VPN.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLAN, Trunking, HSRP and VRRP.
• Experience with Site-to-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN.
• Knowledge of Cisco Routers, Layer 2/Layer 3 Switches and Nexus 9K.
• Experience with Cisco WLC and Cisco ISE.
• Knowledge of MPLS, VRF, QoS and Data Centre networking.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Wireshark.
• CCNP certification (Routing & Switching) or higher preferred.
• Palo Alto PCNSA / PCNSE certification preferred.
• Fortinet Firewall experience is an added advantage.
