Network Security Engineer (weekends, shift) #IDO

Note: Successful candidates need to be comfortable with working on weekends and shift as and when required.

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to manage and enhance enterprise network security across data center, cloud, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in firewall administration, network security monitoring, incident response, and secure network architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain firewall platforms including Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, and Cisco ASA.
• Implement and manage security controls for cloud and on-premise network environments.
• Investigate and troubleshoot security incidents involving network traffic, access controls, and connectivity.
• Review and optimize firewall rules, network segmentation, and access policies.
• Support VPN technologies and secure connectivity solutions.
• Monitor security events using SIEM and network monitoring tools.
• Conduct packet analysis, log reviews, and traffic investigations.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and security compliance activities.
• Execute network security changes with proper risk assessment and rollback plans.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure secure service delivery.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in network and security operations.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.
• Experience with firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Firepower).
• Exposure to Azure network security and cloud connectivity.
• Familiarity with SIEM, Splunk, Wireshark, SolarWinds, and ThousandEyes.
• Understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and VPN technologies.
• Experience in incident management, problem management, and CAB processes.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA / CCNP
• Palo Alto PCNSA / PCNSE
• Microsoft Azure Administrator or Azure Network Engineer Associate
• Security+ or equivalent
