An opportunity is available for an experienced Network Security Manager to lead the network and security operations capability within a large, complex enterprise environment.
Reporting to the Head of Technology Operations, this role combines people leadership, technical direction, service ownership and operational management.
You’ll lead a small team of Network & Security Engineers while taking ownership of the strategy, architecture, roadmap and ongoing improvement of enterprise network and security services.

Hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 from home

You’ll lead a small team of Network & Security Engineers while taking ownership of the strategy, architecture, roadmap and ongoing improvement of enterprise network and security services.
- Lead, coach and develop a small team of Network & Security Engineers
- Own the strategy, architecture and roadmap across enterprise network and security services
- Oversee network availability, capacity, resilience, security and operational performance
- Lead major incident, problem and change management across network and security services
- Manage key technology vendors, telecommunications providers and service partners
- Support infrastructure, cloud, security and broader technology transformation initiatives
- Maintain disaster recovery, failover and business continuity arrangements for critical network services
- 10+ years’ experience across enterprise networking, infrastructure and/or security operations
- Proven experience leading and developing technical teams
- Strong technical knowledge across enterprise networking and network security
- Experience with Cisco switching/routing, Meraki and ISE
- Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Exposure to Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Experience across SD-WAN, VPN, Zero Trust, SASE/SSE and ZTNA
- Strong understanding of network security, vulnerability management and cyber resilience
- Experience working alongside Information Security/SOC teams across security monitoring and incident response
- Strong incident, problem and change management experience within an enterprise environment
