Network Server Admin Onsite Support Engineer

An experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer is required to provide hands-on support for network server and end-user environments including onsite operational support.

Contractor Role - Initial 24 months plus potential extensions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for IT infrastructure
• Manage servers networks and system environments
• Monitor system health and performance
• Troubleshoot hardware network and system issues
• Support implementation of infrastructure upgrades and changes
• Ensure security and patching compliance
• Support end-user and business operational systems
• Participate in incident response and resolution

Technical Skills

• Windows Server administration
• Networking (LAN/WAN switching firewalls)
• Active Directory DNS DHCP
• Virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Microsoft 365 / Azure environments (desirable)
• Strong troubleshooting capability

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills (user-facing role)
• Ability to work onsite as required
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
