NETWORK /SOFTWARE/IT ENGINEER

Your duties as Network/IT Engineer are described herein, but not limited to the following:-

• Provides technical support services and training to computer users; does realted works as required;
• Responsible for providing all areas of computer related support including installation, maintenance and trouble shooting of personal computers, peripherals and application software.
• Manage local area network projects and provide training on basic computer usage and application software to internal staffs and client.
• Oversees, maintain and troubleshooting local area networks; performs preventive maintenance in accordance with department policies;
• Installs applications software on the networks, maintains network documentation;
• Creates and maintains users, directory structures, security rights and printer configurations;
• Discusses software applications with users determine level of satisfaction and/or the need of modify software.
• Troubleshoots technical problems; notify appropriate technology staff of software failures and provides computer diagnostics;
• Maintain database of inventory of workstation and associated equipment, assists in research and purchases of hardware and software.
• Recommends reallocations of operating staff and equipment resources to meet network requirements.
• Oversees electronic e-mail system.
• Provides technical advice and assistance to users concerning data communication equipment and data transmission.
• Trains administrative and clerical staff basic computer usage and office applications software such as EXCEL, WORD, POWER POINT and the likes.
• May require to do research and evaluate new technologies and attend training sessions and seminars to further knowledg.
• Responsible for developing and/or maintaing the company's website.
