We are seeking an experienced Embedded Linux & Network Software Test Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated testing for network operating systems. The role focuses on validating Layer 3 networking features, developing Python automation, troubleshooting software issues, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software.
In this role, you will:
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
Validate networking features in an Embedded Linux environment.
Build Python automation and support CI/CD testing.
Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and verify fixes.
Collaborate with developers to improve software quality.
Strong experience with C, Python
Knowledge of Linux internals, Layer 3 networking, TCP/IP, and routing.
Experience with automated software testing and test framework development.
Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with Cisco IOS XR, Junos, SONiC, or similar network operating systems.
Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPv4/IPv6, and virtualization.
Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) to improve automation, testing, debugging, and productivity.
