Job Description
- Work with Sales and customers to develop tailored solutions
- Participate in customer facing meetings and pre-sales process to align strategies and determine business and technical requirements that will be used in developing solutions or solution
alternatives that map within Companies capabilities - Provide highly skilled technical assistance in completing network planning, engineering, and architecture
- Perform design, research and development of LAN/WAN solutions for SME/Production networks
- Recommend Network modifications to configurations
- Provide high-level support and rapid resolution to network problems
- Provide technical leadership role with in assigned client organizations to review new installations and changes to services and infrastructures, ensuring that a holistic network perspective is taken into consideration with respect to standards, practices, technology, vendors and solutions
- Provide engineering leadership on all design and standards issues; including analysis, development and implementation, as well as training and mentoring of technologies and standards to account representatives
- Provide supporting documentation to solutions.
- Strong Layer 2 & 3 Networking Skills
- Excellent presentation, communication & customer interaction skills
- Cisco certified with a good understanding and experience
- Understanding and experience with Fiber technologies
- Understanding and experience on security technologies
- University degree within an Information Systems or Engineering discipline
- Experience in creating statements of work and assessment documents for professional services;
- Minimum of three years experience in conception, management, and implementation of IT related projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Excellent process skills and exceptional attention to, and management of details
- Excellent initiative and outstanding work ethic
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of sales process and business operations related to IT
- Available for travelling to Toronto.
- Requirement: Cisco CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCSP and/or CCVP
