Network Support Engineer (Infoblox Engineer/Administrator)
We are seeking an experienced Infoblox Engineer/Administrator who will be responsible for the hands-on provisioning, configuration, testing, and day-to-day administration of the Infoblox DDI platform across both Azure Cloud and CCH Data Center environments. The role also includes providing ongoing operational and administrative support following the platform handover.

- 4+ years administering enterprise DNS/DHCP/IPAM platforms, with 2+ years hands-on on Infoblox NIOS.
- Experience provisioning Infoblox physical and/or virtual appliances; Grid Master/Member configuration and replication.
- Working knowledge of DNS views, zone management, forwarding, recursion, and split-horizon DNS.
- Working knowledge of DHCP scope administration, options, reservations, and failover configuration.
- IPAM administration: network discovery, address blocks, and allocation policies/workflows.
- Experience integrating DDI platforms with Active Directory/LDAP, and monitoring via syslog/SNMP.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud networking and data center environments; ability to validate firewall rules and ACLs.
- Strong documentation skills: runbooks, configuration reports, and training materials.
- Infoblox certification (e.g., IICNA) and/or NIOS troubleshooting experience.
- Scripting or API familiarity (Infoblox REST/Web Services API) for automation of repetitive administration.
- DNSSEC configuration experience.
- Prior operational handover/knowledge-transfer responsibility for infrastructure platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Stage Infoblox appliances (physical/virtual) or provision virtual instances; install NIOS, initialize Grid Masters, and join Grid Members.
- Configure DNS: internal/external/DMZ views, forwarding, recursion, and anycast (if applicable).
- Configure DHCP: scopes, options, reservations, and failover/load-sharing per the approved design.
- Configure IPAM: network objects, address blocks, discovery policies, and automation workflows.
- Integrate with Active Directory/LDAP for authentication and authorization.
- Configure Grid replication, backups, and syslog/SNMP monitoring; validate firewall rules, ACLs, and network connectivity.
- Execute functional testing (DNS resolution, DHCP lease assignment, IPAM allocation) and HA testing (Grid Master failover, DHCP failover, DNS view failover).
- Perform integration testing (AD/LDAP, syslog/SNMP, firewall ACLs) and performance validation (query load, DHCP burst testing); remediate identified issues.
- Support UAT with the network operations team and maintain the issue resolution log.
- Develop operational runbooks (daily checks, failover procedures, backup/restore, troubleshooting) and deliver administrator training.
- Prepare configuration reports, deployment checklists, and the final documentation package.
- Provide ongoing administrative Infoblox provisioning and SME support for new engineering/design requirements.
