Network/System Engineer

Versatile Network & Systems Engineer who will be responsible for building automation/tools to support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain network monitoring and alerting systems

Work with Zeek monitor

Support cloud-based infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability

Contribute to incident response and root cause analysis

Ingest and process network telemetry (logs, flows, Zeek)

Map data to Open telemetry (OTEL) format

Integrate with observability tools (Grafana/OpenSearch)

Support custom dashboards/UI

Required Skills

Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs)

Strong network fundamentals and telemetry (NetFlow, logs, Zeek)

Experience with data pupelines/observability (OTEL or similar)

Experience with switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools

Proficiency in Node.js and/or Python

Experience with Zeek

Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Exposure to DevOps practices
