Nex-Tech is looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Network Technician to support and maintain the technology systems that keep our customers connected. In this role, you’ll work directly with managed services clients, helping install, monitor, and troubleshoot network environments to ensure optimal performance and security.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working both onsite and remotely, solving technical challenges, and building strong customer relationships. What You'll Do:

• Install, configure, and maintain workstation, server, and network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Provide on-site and remote technical support for customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Monitor customer systems and networks to ensure maximum uptime and performance
• Perform system administration tasks such as installations, updates, and patch management
• Maintain and test LAN/WAN equipment and services
• Track time and expenses related to work orders and billing
• Research new and emerging technologies to improve services and solutions
• Educate customers on system operation and best practices

including a broad range of responsibilities across Microsoft 365 administration, field support, and MSP operations


What You Bring:

• Knowledge of computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
• Proficiency with computers and technical software tools
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in various physical environments, including confined spaces
• Valid driver’s license required


Education & Experience:

Required: High school diploma plus one to three years of experience in computer/peripheral and network support. A+ certification or Network+ certification or equivalent required.
