Electrical Principal System Integration Engineer
Electrical Principal Engineer - System Integration
Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality, and quality, as well as industry standards.
What you’ll achieve:
As an Electrical Principal System Integration Engineer supporting Network L11 rack-scale solutions, you will drive the integration and delivery of enterprise-class networking platforms that combine advanced switches, optics, cables, power, cooling, and rack-level infrastructure technologies. Working closely with cross-functional teams across ISG, you will develop deep expertise in L11 system architecture, hardware integration, validation, and deployment through end-to-end engagement in the product lifecycle. From defining rack-level designs and hardware configurations to enabling manufacturing, supply chain readiness, data center deployment, and field serviceability, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, scalable, and reliable networking solutions in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment driven by innovation, integrity, and accountability.
You will:
Lead end-to-end integration of Network L11 rack-scale solutions, including switches, cables, optics, power, cooling, and rack infrastructure for AI and high-performance networking deployments.
Define and drive L11 system architecture, rack layouts, mechanical stack-ups, cabling topologies, airflow strategies, and serviceability requirements to ensure scalable, reliable, and deployable solutions.
Apply deep understanding of data center architecture, networking infrastructure, and rack-level integration to develop optimized solutions that meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, and deployment objectives.
Collaborate across hardware, mechanical, thermal, electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to translate requirements into robust, production-ready designs.
Lead system integration reviews, validation activities, and complex problem-solving efforts, driving issue resolution from development through deployment while meeting cost, schedule, quality, and performance goals.
