About the Role
The Network Team Manager will lead and oversee a team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' network infrastructure. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic approach to ensure optimal network performance, security, and scalability.
Accountabilities
- Network Strategy and Architecture Leadership
oDevelop and implement network strategies aligned with business objectives
oDesign and oversee the implementation of complex network architectures
oContinuously evaluate and recommend improvements to network infrastructure
•Team Mentorship and Development
oLead, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers and specialists
oConduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
oIdentify skill gaps and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities
•Client Relationship and Escalation
oServe as the primary point of contact for high-profile client projects
oBuild and maintain strong relationships with new clients during the project process
oCollaborate with account managers to ensure a smooth handoff post-deployment
oAddress escalations and resolve complex issues during the project phase
- Project Profitability and Resource Scheduling
oOversee the planning and execution of all client projects
oDevelop project timelines, resource allocation plans, and risk mitigation strategies
oMonitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
oCollaborate with other departments to coordinate resources and expertise as needed
- Network Performance Optimization and Standards
oMonitor network performance and implement optimization strategies
oTroubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions
oEstablish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for network operations
•Performance Management & Results
oEstablish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the infrastructure team
oImplement data-driven decision-making processes to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
oEnsure timely delivery of projects and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
oDrive continuous improvement in team performance and client satisfaction
•Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong technical knowledge of on-premises infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and operating systems
- Proven experience in managing cloud migration projects
- Excellent understanding of IT service management principles and best practices
- Strong project management skills and experience with relevant methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Agile)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills
•Relevant certifications
