Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neuroradiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. Opportunity Details:
- Interpret neuroradiology imaging (CT, MRI, and related modalities), delivering accurate, timely reports that guide patient care.
- Assess clinical indications, protocol imaging studies as needed, and provide patient care within the scope of service, including managing acute and chronic conditions and all patient interactions.
- Manage contrast reactions and initiate emergency protocols as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated, high-quality care.
- Supervise and work closely with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Manage daily workflow and assignments to ensure timely completion of studies without deferring work to overnight coverage.
- Maintain a schedule that may include evenings and weekends to support continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
- Supervise and train residents, fellows, and medical students, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
