Our Neurosurgery and Neuro-Endovascular programs provide care to a diverse and complex patient population across the inpatient, ICU, and procedural settings.
In this position, the Nurse Practitioner will have the opportunity to practice across multiple aspects of Neurosurgery and Neuro-Endovascular care, working collaboratively with Neurosurgeons, Neuro-Endovascular physicians, and the multidisciplinary Neurosciences team. The role offers broad clinical exposure, including pre-operative and post-operative care, inpatient and ICU management, consultations, emergent neurological conditions, and procedural care.
The Nurse Practitioner will play an integral role in the evaluation and ongoing management of complex neurological and neurosurgical patients. Responsibilities may include performing comprehensive histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic and laboratory studies, developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing medications, responding to changes in clinical condition, coordinating consultations, and providing patient and family education.
As an integral member of the Neurosciences team, the NP will work closely with physicians, nursing, critical care, rehabilitation, and other specialists to coordinate care throughout the patient's hospitalization and support seamless transitions across levels of care.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and is interested in developing specialized expertise in Neurosurgery and Neuro-Endovascular medicine. The position offers an exceptional combination of advanced clinical practice, complex patient management, procedural medicine, interdisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful clinical responsibility within a growing Neurosciences program.
