Summary

A compliance analyst reviews banking transactions and customer data to detect financial crimes, ensuring adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations for a foreign bank in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

· Monitor and investigate transaction monitoring alerts, identify suspicious activities, and escalate or prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) in accordance with AML/CFT regulatory requirements.

· Review and disposition sanctions, Politically Exposed Person (PEP), and adverse media screening alerts, ensuring compliance with applicable international sanctions regimes.

· Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and periodic KYC reviews, including verification of Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds(SOF) for higher-risk customers.

· Prepare, validate, and maintain FATCA and CRS reporting data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.

· Support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of AML transaction monitoring and name screening systems to strengthen financial crime controls.

· Assist in the execution and periodic review of the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment(EWRA), including risk identification, assessment, and control effectiveness evaluation.

· Develop, maintain, and update AML/CFT policies, procedures, and internal frameworks inline with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.

· Support regulatory reporting, respond to regulatory inquiries, and assist with internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.

· Provide AML/CFT advisory and guidance to business stakeholders on sanctions compliance, KYC/CDD requirements, control implementation, and financial crime risk mitigation.

· Deliver AML/CFT training and awareness programmes to promote regulatory compliance and strengthen the organization's compliance culture.

· Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices, recommending andimplementing enhancements to AML/CFT controls and compliance processes.

· Perform other compliance and financial crime-related duties as assigned by the Legal and Compliance leadership team.

· Perform ad-hoc screenings and other duties as assigned by the manager.

Job Requirements

· Minimum Degree in a related discipline

· Minimum 2 years of relevant banking experience

· Able to start immediately or within short notice
