ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Provincial Medical Lead (New Brunswick) plays a key leadership role within the Rocket Doctoral Clinical Leadership Team (CLT), working alongside the existing MD Leads to strengthen, expand, and optimize Rocket Doctor’s presence in the province, and Atlantic Canada as a whole.
This role focuses heavily on growing the New Brunswick provider community, establishing clinical operations within the province, and supporting physicians as they enter practice on the platform. The Provincial Medical Lead will support recruitment efforts, build physician engagement, help shape provincial workflows, and ensure a high-quality experience for both patients and providers in New Brunswick.
In addition to New Brunswick-focused leadership, the Provincial Medical Lead participates in broader MD Lead initiatives to support cross-provincial alignment and company-wide growth
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (NEW BRUNSWICK-FOCUSED)
Grow and Strengthen New Brunswick’s Physician Presence
- Rocket Doctor is growing in New Brunswick, and we're looking for a physician to lead it. As Provincial Medical Lead (New Brunswick), you will help build the province's physician community on our platform: recruiting and onboarding NB physicians, shaping clinical workflows that fit how medicine works in New Brunswick, and making sure both patients and providers have a high-quality experience.
- New Brunswick's primary care gap is well known, and thousands of residents are waiting for a regular provider. Virtual care is part of how the province closes that gap, and this role puts you in a position to shape it. You will be the clinical voice for New Brunswick inside a national platform, with direct input into product, workflows, and how care gets delivered in your province.
- Help build a strong provincial physician community and encourage ongoing clinical engagement.
Support Provincial Operations & Quality
- Investigate and respond to patient, provider, or PCC-raised concerns related to New Brunswick care.
- Review and refine clinical workflows specific to New Brunswick to improve efficiency, compliance, and physician ease of practice.
- Maintain close communication with practicing New Brunswick physicians, including active presence on Slack and participation in local meetings.
Strategic Specialty Leadership
- Serve as a clinical leader supporting the growth of New Brunswick’s virtual care presence.
- Liaise with New Brunswick health authorities, organizations, and partners as appropriate.
- Provide input on New Brunswick-specific product needs, regulatory considerations, and physician experience improvements.

- Partner with the product and operations teams on improvement initiatives.
- Provide troubleshooting support on emerging physician issues across all provinces.
- Assist with communications and strategic updates for physicians and Rocket Doctor staff.
- Help coordinate physician meetings and engagement events across Canada.

- Maintain professionalism as outlined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the New Brunswick medical landscape and virtual care environment.
- Maintain clear records of recommendations and decisions.
- Knowledge of Rocket Doctor’s EMR, platform extensions, and applicable privacy regulations in Canada and the United States (HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA) is considered an asset.
- Handle all confidential company and patient information with discretion.
COMPENSATION:
- The position is estimated to be an average of 4 hours per week (negotiable) paid at $150 / hour. The dollar value of work will be paid via equity in the publicly traded parent company, which can be awarded to you personally or your corp, and deposited and traded within your investment / trading account.
