Your next chapter
At Travel Chapter, we’re on a mission to showcase the UK’s most inspiring places to stay. As the holiday home people, we work closely with property owners to help them unlock the full potential of their homes while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
We’re looking for an energetic, commercially driven New Business Manager to join our growing team and take ownership of developing our Central England region.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves winning new business, spotting opportunities and building relationships. You'll be responsible for growing our property portfolio across a varied geographical area, identifying potential owners and turning opportunities into successful partnerships.
You'll need to be confident, proactive and motivated by targets, with the creativity to think differently, adapt your approach and make things happen. This is a field-based role, so you'll have plenty of autonomy to manage your own diary, build your local network and maximise opportunities across your territory.
Ideally, you'll be based around Solihull or the surrounding areas, with the ability to travel across your region, generally within around a two-hour radius.
Alongside a competitive basic salary, you'll benefit from a commission scheme with realistic first-year on-target earnings of an additional £10,000–£15,000, with the opportunity to achieve £20,000+ in commission as your portfolio and performance grow.
What you'll be doing
Driving property acquisition across Central England, identifying high-quality holiday homes in attractive and high-demand locations
Building and managing a strong pipeline of opportunities through networking, research, referrals, events and proactive outreach
Actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, using your initiative and creativity to uncover potential owners and properties
Confidently presenting and selling our owner proposition, tailoring your approach to each potential owner
Developing local partnerships with estate agents, developers, businesses and other key stakeholders to support regional growth
Taking ownership of your sales pipeline, managing your own diary and ensuring opportunities are progressed effectively
Ensuring each new property is launched to the highest standard, including pricing, photography and listing quality
Using data and local market insight to shape pricing strategies and revenue projections
Negotiating commercially sound agreements that benefit both the owner and the business
Acting as a brand ambassador in your region, representing Travel Chapter at meetings, events and industry functions
Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality owner journey
Working towards and exceeding KPIs across appointments, property sign-ups and revenue generation
What we're looking for
A highly motivated, commercially driven individual who is energised by targets, commission and achieving results
Strong sales and business development experience, with a track record of winning new business and exceeding targets
Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the confidence to build relationships quickly
A proactive approach to identifying opportunities, thinking creatively and trying different approaches to generate business
Someone who is adaptable, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Proven experience in field-based sales, including managing your own diary and time effectively
Confidence working independently across a large geographical area
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to recognise and develop profitable opportunities
Experience managing a pipeline and using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Strong IT, numeracy and literacy skills
Good knowledge of Central England and the surrounding areas
A full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within your territory
It would be great if you also have
Experience within the holiday letting, hospitality, hotel or wider travel and tourism industry
An existing network of contacts across your geographical area
An eye for property presentation, marketing and photography
Experience working with property owners, landlords or investors
