Python Software Engineers Wanted | Tier-One Trading & Buy-Side Firms | Hong Kong
I am partnering with a leading global trading investment and buyside firms hiring multiple Python Developers for its growing engineering team in Hong Kong.
You will build and enhance quantitative trading frameworks used across electronic trading, backtesting and data management. This is a hands-on development role offering close interaction with traders and quantitative researchers, alongside ownership of business-critical systems.
What you will do
- Build and enhance quantitative trading platforms
- Develop clean, scalable and production-quality Python software
- Work closely with traders and quants to launch and run strategies
- Improve real-time systems, automation and platform performance
- Explore new technologies and contribute to architectural decisions
What They’re Looking For
- 2-10 years of professional software development experience
- Excellent software engineering and code-quality standards
- Experience building production systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- An interest in quantitative trading and financial markets
Nice to Have
- Experience with real-time, high-performance or low-latency systems
- SRE, production reliability or incident-response experience
- CI/CD, automation or DevOps exposure
- Kubernetes or AWS experience
- Experience supporting high-availability platforms
