New Vehicle Sales Manager - Chevrolet (4033)
Lake Chevrolet is looking for an experienced automotive sales professional to lead our New Chevrolet Sales Department.
We're not looking for someone to simply sit at a desk and work deals.
We're looking for a hands-on sales leader who can drive volume, develop salespeople, manage inventory, protect gross, improve processes, and take ownership of the department's performance.
If you're an experienced automotive Sales Manager, Desk Manager, or New Vehicle Manager who believes you can build a team and compete at a high level in the Milwaukee market, we want to talk to you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead our New Chevrolet Sales Department
- Desk and structure deals
- Coach, train, and develop sales consultants
- Drive new-vehicle sales volume and market share
- Manage new Chevrolet inventory and aging
- Monitor pricing and competitive market conditions
- Maximize inventory turn and minimize aged inventory
- Manage leads, appointments, showroom traffic, and follow-up
- Hold the sales team accountable for CRM activity and performance
- Monitor closing percentages and salesperson productivity
- Maintain strong knowledge of Chevrolet incentives and programs
- Work closely with F&I and dealership leadership
- Recruit and develop high-performing sales professionals
- Deliver an excellent customer experience
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Has automotive retail sales experience
- Has dealership management or leadership experience
- Understands desking and deal structure
- Knows how to manage and motivate a sales team
- Understands inventory aging, turn, pricing, and days supply
- Is comfortable using data to make decisions
- Is organized and process-driven
- Can hold people accountable
- Is competitive and results-oriented
- Wants to be actively involved with the sales team and customers
GM/Chevrolet experience is a plus, but we will consider strong automotive sales managers from other franchises.
