A well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking to appoint a Newly or Part-Qualified Accountant to join its Limerick office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified or finalist accountant to continue building their career within a high-performing and supportive environment. You will gain exposure to a varied portfolio of SME and agri-sector clients while working closely with experienced Partners and senior team members.
The Role
You will support the delivery of high-quality accounting and compliance services across a diverse client base.
Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing financial accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

Preparing statutory accounts for client companies

Completing accounts for sole traders
-
Preparing VAT returns and performing bank reconciliations
-
Responding to and resolving client queries in a timely manner
-
Supporting senior colleagues on advisory and compliance projects
-
Contributing to strong client relationships and ongoing practice growth
This position offers strong hands-on experience across accounts preparation, tax compliance, and client interaction within a collaborative team setting.
The Ideal Candidate

Recently qualified or finalist ACA / ACCA / CPA

Minimum 1 year’s experience within a public practice environment

Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation and compliance

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to manage deadlines effectively

Commercially aware with a client-focused mindset
