Newly Qualified Accountant – Midlands

A well-established professional services firm is seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join its growing regional office, supporting a diverse portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients.

This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting and tax, including the preparation of accounts (FRS 105/102), corporate and personal tax returns, and VAT compliance. The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, managing relationships and delivering a high standard of service in a hands-on environment.

The position is best suited to a qualified accountant who is comfortable working independently, enjoys working closely with clients, and is keen to develop strong all-round experience within a supportive and close-knit team. Over time, there will be opportunities to gain exposure to larger and more complex assignments.

Candidate profile:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or recently qualified)
• Strong experience in accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Ability to manage a client portfolio independently
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
