The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during overnight hours, ensuring exceptional guest service, and completing daily financial and accounting tasks. What you will do on a Nightly basis
- Provides professional and courteous guest service at all times
- Answers telephone calls courteously and efficiently
- Registers and assigns room(s) to guests
- Answers inquiries regarding hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
- Computes bills, receives payments, and makes change for guests
- Prepares an accurate Daily Report
- Posts ancillary charges to guest folios (food, liquor, room, telephone)
- Promote any current hotel and franchise marketing programs
- Communicates with the next shift and informs ops manager/gm/maintenance about any overnight incidents
