The Opportunity
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the hotel's nighttime operations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and the front desk is managed efficiently. This role involves balancing accounts, preparing daily reports, and providing exceptional customer service to guests during the night shift.
The hourly rate for this position is 24.24.
Key Responsibilities\:
Financial Reconciliation\:
Balance daily financial transactions and reports.
Prepare end-of-day financial reports, including revenue and occupancy figures.
Verify all charges, credits, and adjustments in the system.
Guest Services\:
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and courteously.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Record Keeping\:
- Maintain accurate records of all guest transactions.
- Prepare and file reports as required by management.
- Ensure the integrity of guest information in the system.
Security and Safety\:
- Monitor the hotel's security and safety protocols during the night shift.
- Conduct regular property walks to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Respond to emergencies and follow appropriate procedures.
Communication\:
- Communicate effectively with other departments and management.
- Report any issues or concerns to the Front Office Manager.
Additional Duties\:
- Assist in training new front desk staff as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
This is an hourly position with a compensation of $23.54
