Night CDL-A Driver: 100% Drop & Hook, Weekends Off - Charlotte, NC

Discussion

Description

Night Driver | Charlotte Area | $73,400/Year Potential | Weekends Always Off

Prefer working when the roads are quiet? This Sunday to Thursday night job gives you a brand-new day cab, freight you never have to touch, and every weekend to yourself.

Most weeks the job pays around $1,411, which works out to about $73,400 a year. You're paid $0.63 for each mile and $21.50 for each stop, and the check comes every week.

Nights run about 12 hours, and you're back in your own bed afterward. Every load is drop and hook, so you're swapping trailers and driving, not loading or unloading anything. The freight is a mix of commodities in dry vans.

Here's what we're hoping you have:

• A valid Class A CDL

• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years

• Comfort with a urine and hair follicle drug screen

• Background details come up later in the hiring process, the way they do at most jobs, so there's nothing to dig up before you apply

Here's what comes with the job:

• Medical, vision, dental, life and disability insurance

• Prescription coverage

• Paid time off, earned vacation and holiday pay

• 401(k) with a company match

If steady nights and free weekends sound like your kind of schedule, go ahead and apply. We'll take it from there.
