ALK has an opening for a full-time Night Custodian, located in our Oklahoma City, OK facility.

Area of Responsibilities

The custodian is responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of all non-clean room areas. This includes but is not limited to office, hallways, public areas, warehouse, restrooms, training areas, break room/kitchen and conference rooms. The custodian is responsible for maintaining an inventory of all paper and soap products and insuring the dispensers are kept full. A standard operating procedure details the responsibilities and the custodian(s) must be able to comply with the documentation required. They will be expected to.

The following is a list of specific duties, which are considered to be essential functions of this job. This list is not all-inclusive, and the employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any/all duties assigned by management, irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list.

• Sweep and Mop floors
• Operate both hand and automatic floor machines
• Operate and maintain vacuums
• Empty all trash on daily basis
• Dust office areas
• Read and comply with SOPs and documentation
• Keep entry/exit door windows clean and smudge free
• Clean restroom sinks, countertops, toilets and showers

Physical/Mental:

• Be able to lift up to 40 pounds

• Must be self-motivated and able to work on their own during afterhours custodial work

Competences

Competences required to fulfil the area of responsibilities and work assignments:

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of floor buffing all types of vacuums-wet and dry, and motorized floor machines.
