Night Hotel Team Member (Part-time, 9 month maternity cover)

As a Night Team Member, you will be required to work independently and oversee the hotel operations, including checking guests in and out, and addressing any guest needs that might arise. It is a varied role- you might have to prepare some drinks, make a pizza, assist the breakfast service, make new reservations, answer the phone, cashiering, oversee security and health and safety, or even do some basic cleaning duties. Whatever it is you need to do, have fun and always put our guests first to ensure they have an exceptional stay.
- Welcome and assist guests during night hours, addressing their needs and inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Perform night audit tasks, including reviewing and balancing daily financial transactions
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using our property management system
- Set up the breakfast service
- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to prepare for the next day's operations
- Manage incoming calls and messages, relaying information accurately to relevant team members
- Promote hotel facilities and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Assist with administrative tasks and reports as required
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Adapt to various situations and perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service, preferably in a night shift role
- Proficiency in property management systems, such as OPERA Cloud
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to work night shifts and maintain a flexible schedule
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office software
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist in various capacities
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality management is a plus
