Night Receptionist - Flexi/ Student

Join the VIA Antwerp team as a Flexi Night Receptionist!

While most of the city sleeps, you’re the friendly face welcoming guests to VIA Antwerp. As a Night Receptionist, you help ensure a smooth, safe and welcoming hotel experience throughout the night.

With our grand opening on the horizon, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the guest experience and help establish the night reception operations from the very beginning.

What you'll do

• Welcome our guests: Handle late-night arrivals, check-ins, check-outs and guest requests with a friendly and professional attitude.

• Support night operations: Assist with night audit tasks, administrative duties and preparing clear handovers for the day team.

• Keep things safe: Monitor the hotel, follow security procedures and report any incidents or irregularities.

• Be the point of contact: Answer phone calls, emails and questions from guests throughout the night.

• Create the VIA experience: Bring our warm, relaxed and distinctive hospitality to every guest, even in the early hours.

• Prepare for the morning: Ensure the reception and essential administrative tasks are in order for a smooth start to the day.

Who you are

• You have a passion for hospitality and enjoy helping guests.

• You communicate confidently and professionally in English; additional languages are a plus.

• You work independently, take initiative and remain calm under pressure.

• You are reliable, flexible and comfortable working night shifts.

• Previous reception or hotel experience is an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

• You meet the legal eligibility requirements for a flexi-job in Belgium.

• A friendly, approachable attitude and a genuine passion for helping others.

• The ability to work independently, take initiative and stay focused during quieter moments.

• Good communication skills in Dutch and English. Additional languages are a plus.

• Comfort with hotel systems and digital tools; experience with PMS platforms such as Mews or Opera is an advantage.

• Reliability, attention to detail and a calm, hands-on mindset.

• Flexibility and availability to support the team when needed, including night shifts.
